These terms cover use of the A Vita Career Management website and general information about our services. The site is operated by A Vita Group, LLC, doing business as A Vita Career Management. A written client agreement controls an individual engagement if its terms differ from these general website terms, to the extent permitted by law.

Website information and permitted use

Site articles, examples, and service descriptions are for general information. A website visit, inquiry, diagnostic, or preliminary conversation does not establish a professional engagement. Do not copy proprietary writing, diagnostics, templates, or methods for unauthorized resale or distribution, disrupt the site, or use it unlawfully.

Engagements and responsibilities

An accepted proposal or other written agreement defines the scope, fees, timing, interviews or meetings, deliverables, revisions, confidentiality obligations, and cancellation or rescheduling arrangements for executive, career, organizational, or writing services. Clients should provide accurate, authorized materials and timely feedback. Clients are responsible for reviewing and approving the truth and completeness of final resumes, profiles, biographies, and career statements.

Confidentiality and work product

We treat client career and professional information with care. Handling, authorized disclosure to any sponsoring employer, ownership of final deliverables, and use of preexisting tools or methods are governed by the engagement agreement and our Privacy Policy. We retain preexisting proprietary methods, templates, and tools unless an express agreement provides otherwise.

Fees, no-refund policy, and cancellations

All consulting services, professional writing services, and digital products are nonrefundable, except where a refund or other remedy is required by applicable law or expressly provided in a written engagement. Project cancellations, postponed meetings, milestone payments, and changes of scope are governed by the accepted agreement. Please review our Refund and Cancellation Policy before paying.

Professional information and results

We do not guarantee interviews, job offers, compensation, promotions, placement, employer decisions, or business results. General site content is not individualized legal, tax, medical, psychological, or investment advice. Seek appropriately qualified professional assistance for regulated matters. Third-party sites or scheduling tools may have separate terms.

Changes, limitations, and governing law

We may update these terms for future website use. To the extent the law permits, we do not accept liability for indirect losses arising solely from reliance on general free website information. We do not exclude mandatory duties, remedies, or protections. Wisconsin law governs the general site terms to the extent permitted, subject to mandatory applicable law.
