Effective October 11, 2026
A Vita Career Management respects the privacy of visitors, customers, and clients. This policy explains the personal information we handle when you contact us, use our website, buy a resource, or engage our services. Our business is operated by A Vita Group, LLC, doing business as A Vita Career Management.
Information we receive
Information you provide: your name, email, contact details, organization, inquiry, appointment information, correspondence, and any other information you choose to send us.
Client work: resume or career-history information, professional documents, project requirements, billing and payment records, appointment details, and correspondence necessary to provide requested advisory or writing services. Payment providers may process card payments; please do not email card numbers.
Basic technical information: website hosting, security systems, forms, and connected platforms may automatically process IP addresses, browser or device information, session identifiers, and security logs to deliver requested features and protect the site.
How we use information
We use information to respond to requests; arrange meetings; evaluate and deliver agreed work; process and document orders or invoices; provide customer support; maintain essential operations and security; keep legally required records; and send marketing communications when permitted. You can unsubscribe from promotional emails using the link in the message or by contacting us.
For confidential career materials, we use the information in connection with the services requested. Please avoid providing Social Security numbers, medical information, or unrelated sensitive details unless specifically requested through an appropriate channel.
Cookies and visitor tracking
We do not independently add advertising pixels, remarketing tools, session-replay tools, or optional visitor-behavior analytics cookies for our own marketing. We do not seek to build profiles of individuals from their browsing activity.
Our hosting, forms, email, or scheduling providers may use necessary session technologies and technical logs to deliver the features you request. An independent provider may have its own privacy notice for services it operates.
You can manage cookies in your browser, although blocking necessary cookies may prevent some forms, logins, checkout functions, or scheduling features from working. If optional tracking or advertising technologies are introduced later, we will update this notice and offer any choices required by applicable law.
Who receives information
We disclose information only as reasonably needed to service providers supporting hosting, email, scheduling, payment processing, digital delivery, file storage, customer support, security, bookkeeping, or other requested operations, or when required by law. We may also share information at your direction or where necessary to protect legal rights. Service providers handle data under their own applicable terms and privacy responsibilities. We do not intentionally sell customer lists or personal information for advertising.
How long information is kept and protected
We keep records as long as reasonably necessary to complete requested work, provide support, meet tax and bookkeeping obligations, resolve disputes, protect our rights, and comply with law. Periods vary by the record and its purpose. We use reasonable safeguards for the information involved, but no electronic system is completely secure.
International processing and applicable privacy rights
Our business is based in the United States, and service providers may process information in other countries. Where data-protection law requires safeguards for international transfers, we will apply an appropriate lawful basis or safeguard.
Depending on where you live and the laws applicable to our activities, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information; obtain a portable copy; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; or opt out of uses covered by applicable U.S. state privacy law. These rights have legal conditions and exceptions, including retention of records needed for contracts, taxes, or disputes. We do not make solely automated decisions about employment or eligibility that have legal or similarly significant effects.
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, processing is based, as appropriate, on taking steps at your request or performing a contract, compliance with legal duties, legitimate interests such as security and responding to business inquiries, or consent when legally needed. You may complain to a relevant data-protection authority. For rights requests, email the privacy contact below. We may take reasonable steps to confirm identity before disclosing information. We will respond as required by applicable law.
Children and updates
Our sites and services are intended for adults and are not directed to children. If you believe a child provided personal information through a site we operate, contact us.
We may update this policy as practices or applicable legal duties change. We will post the updated version here and provide additional notice if legally required.
